Nomi̽k Sōn Hadfow (/ˈnomi̽k/ /soːn/ [young] [canoe]) is a subtropical Large City located in Jĭǐkhkobězvæl Zone, Qěvrìlæh District, within the Alveria.

The name Nomi̽k Sōn Hadfow is derived from the Sylvin language, as Nomi̽k Sōn Hadfow was founded by Correcu, who was culturaly Wood Elf.

Climate

Nomi̽k Sōn Hadfow has a yearly average temperature of 16°C (60°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a pleasant 25°C (77°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cold 8°C (46°F). Overview

Nomi̽k Sōn Hadfow was founded durring the early 12th century in winter of the year 1123, by Correcu. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Correcu.

Nomi̽k Sōn Hadfow was built using the conventions of Wood Elf durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Nomi̽k Sōn Hadfow is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Nomi̽k Sōn Hadfow is buildings folow an organic layout of restrictive packed earth streets whihch gives the city a shape simmilar to a tree, if one views its streets from above. The city sits behind a stone-renforced palisade wall, with stone gatehouses and timber drawbridges for their trench. The city's would-be-castle fortifications have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the city.

Right off the bat Nomi̽k Sōn Hadfow hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Many of those buildings are schools, scriptoriums, and even one college. One can only wonder what knowledge the town has come into.

They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Nomi̽k Sōn Hadfow's natural decorations nor waterways.

Cultural Notes

Nomi̽k Sōn Hadfow's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its fluid and florid elaborate style, comprising ornate, asymmetric designs and pastel shades. It is often considered to be a playful, light style, which made exuberant use of curves and emphasized subtle asymmetry in the general shape of its structures. Walls, ceilings and moldings are decorated with numerous interlacing of curves and counter-curves based on the shapes of ‘C’ and ‘S’, along with shell forms and other naturalistic shapes.

In Nomi̽k Sōn Hadfow snow is warm to the touch and does not melt within city limits. Also it only happens during summer.
